Virtual Reality
Nursing Lab

This fund supports additional simulation software licenses, scenario development, and research in the College of Nursing and Health Virtual Reality Nursing Laboratory. The lab provides nursing students with simulated real-world clinical experiences, while they gain proficiency in delivering effective, compassionate interprofessional care. This project also fosters collaboration with Angela Hospice and Marywood Nursing Care Center, neighboring Felician Ministries.

Scholarship Fund

Started in 2024 upon her retirement as dean of the College of Education & Human Development, this scholarship fund needs $4,000 to become fully endowed. It will then award an annual scholarship in perpetuity. This scholarship honors Dr. O’s more than 40 years of dedicated service and will help educate future teachers and school administrators.
Summer Camp for
Deaf Teens

Support for this fund in the College of Arts and Sciences will help Madonna University secure additional funding from corporations and foundations to offer a week-long summer camp for deaf high school students in the future. A collaborative effort, the camp will expose students to careers in Sign Language Studies, Broadcast & Cinema Arts, and Forensic Science.
Take 5 Lounge Student Project

The Student Senate will add this year's funds to those raised last St. Felix Day, for a total of $10,800 to replace the worn furniture in the Take 5 Lounge, where students study, eat, and hang out between classes.

Gifts to this fund will support the purchase of high-performance computers and student workstations for the
School of Business's computer science and cybersecurity programs. This much-needed technology would be suitable
for programming and running virtual machines.
Bridge to Success Program

This fund supports the Bridge to Success summer bridge program for Pell-eligible, first-generation students from
Metro Detroit. This 10-day residential experience is designed to support approximately 20 first-year students in their transition to college and to build a strong foundation for their academic success.

This endowed scholarship, created by former Crusaders basketball players Jim Woodworth '04 and Aaron Cox '03, provides scholarships to Madonna men's basketball players.

St. Felix Day of Giving brings together the Madonna community to support projects that advance the mission of Madonna University and enhance the student learning experience.
As in previous years, our goals, although ambitious, continue to be focused on our students. Please support the project or fund that speaks to you, then spread the word about all of the great things happening at Madonna, and why you support the University.
